Roger Baxter, MD
“For the past 16 years, he has provided formal presentations to physicians, residents, medical students, nurses and laboratory personnel.”
Patients with an infectious disease present a special challenge to physicians, but no one is more proactive or skilled in educating his colleagues about the ever-changing field of infectious diseases than Roger Baxter, MD.
As clinical lead for the Northern California Seasonal Flu Campaign, Dr. Baxter sends weekly updates during flu season about the incidence, diagnosis and treatment of influenza. As Chair of the Chiefs of Infectious Diseases, he serves as an expert for regional conferences.
For the past two decades, he has provided formal presentations to physicians, residents, medical students, nurses and laboratory personnel; engaged in informal educational activities such as consultations; and authored a variety of written reports which contribute significantly to the body of knowledge about infectious diseases.
