Marc Jaffe, MD, is recognized for his commitment to teaching on the local, regional and national levels — both within Kaiser Permanente and in the academic community. He is a volunteer attending physician at San Francisco General Hospital, where he also holds the academic rank of Associate Clinical Professor. He is known for his charismatic approach to teaching and his ability to take the science of medicine and transform it into a work of art. His areas of expertise cover a broad range of topics, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, hypertension and the PHASE (Preventing Heart Disease and Stroke Everyday) Program.
Always willing to share his knowledge of the most accurate and up-to-date information with his colleagues, Dr. Jaffe has helped bring about significant improvements in clinical practice that have resulted in better health outcomes for Kaiser Permanente members throughout Northern California.
