“Will you take the lead?” Lawrence Quan, MD has been asked that question many times and he always says “yes.” Just as often, he volunteers to spearhead a project.
Dr. Quan has helped lead Fremont’s Departments of General Medicine, Internal Medicine and Occupational Medicine. For the last 11 years, he helped lead the GSAA Department of Occupational Health Services. For him, the pleasure of leadership is to point his colleagues in the right direction then stand back and give them full credit for their success.
As an advocate of workplace safety, he has initiated and led numerous efforts to make his colleagues safer and more comfortable as they care for their patients.
