Peter Gordon, MD, is making a difference both in his hematology/oncology practice as and through his association with the award-winning Kaiser Permanente Oncology Clinical Trials (KPOCT) program.

Each year, more than 300 Northern California Kaiser Permanente patients with cancer enter clinical trials through KPOCT, enabling them to receive groundbreaking new treatments prior to FDA approval.

Currently, there are over 1700 Kaiser Permanente patients, over 100 TPMG physicians – including Dr. Gordon – and more than 40 research personnel involved in KPOCT studies or trials for the treatment of twelve different types of cancer. Since its inception over 15 years ago, the program has administered 264 clinical trials, involving more than 3700 patients.
