It’s safe to say that Arthur Klatsky, MD, can look back with satisfaction on his exceptional contributions both as a full-time clinical cardiologist and world-renowned researcher during his 40-plus year KP career.

Widely recognized for his research on the positive effects of moderate alcoholic beverage consumption and coronary health, his work includes 91 presentations in 18 countries, and 120 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and editorials.

As a result of his vast body of research, governments, medical journals and organizations like the American Heart Association turn to Dr. Klatsky for consultation about alcohol’s effects on health.

He is currently a Senior Editor for The Permanente Journal.
