Alfredo Lopez, MD

In both his clinical practice and oncology research, Alfredo Lopez, MD, is making a difference.

An avid researcher and clinician, Dr. Lopez is a participant in the award-winning Kaiser Permanente Oncology Clinical Trials (KPOCT) program.

Each year, more than 300 Northern California Kaiser Permanente patients with cancer enter clinical trials through KPOCT, enabling them to receive groundbreaking new treatments prior to FDA approval.

In 2007, KPOCT received the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s Clinical Trials Award in recognition of its dedication to the advancement of cancer treatment.

Dr. Lopez also serves on Kaiser Permanente San Francisco’s Clinical Trials Steering Committee.
