Under his leadership, Roseville’s Emergency Department made many changes to improve care and enhance survival for patients who’ve had a stroke, heart attack or severe infection.
He implemented a program that completes evaluation and treatment in about an hour for patients with less severe conditions, while at the same time rapidly admitting other patients to the hospital from the ED. He also established a Clinical Decision Area to care for patients who need extended emergency care but can be discharged within 24 hours.
Dr. Berman’s outstanding leadership makes the ED a more satisfying place to deliver the highest quality patient care and service.
