Lisbeth Suyehira, MD

An excellent and highly regarded oncologist, Lisbeth Suyehira, MD, is known for her outstanding work both as a clinician as well as a researcher through her association with the award-winning Kaiser Permanente Oncology Clinical Trials (KPOCT) program.

Currently, there are over 1700 Kaiser Permanente patients and approximately 150 TPMG physicians and research personnel involved in KPOCT studies or trials. Since its inception over 15 years ago, the program has administered 264 clinical trials, involving more than 3700 patients.

In 2007, KPOCT received the American Society of Clinical Oncology’s Clinical Trials Award in recognition of its dedication to the advancement of cancer treatment.
